Back in Action!

So I'm feeling recharged, and I'm back on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, which is where my studio space is. I've got to get some supplies together, and move most of my tools and art books from my house into the studio, and then it's time to work.

So, by next week I ought to have studio photos and maybe, just maybe, some work in progress pieces.

In other news, I shipped work out in mid-June for the 8th International Juried Student Enamel Exhibition, which opens in Oakland, California in conjunction with Surfacing (the Enamelist Society Convention). The show opens on August 1 and runs until August 26 at the Oakland Art Gallery. And I'll be out in California while the exhibition is running (although sadly I'll be just missing the conference) so I might even get to stop in and visit. Plus there are a handful of other enamel exhibitions running as well, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I make it up, since they're all in Northern California, and I'll be in San Diego, which is way south.
