I have a ton of old work from when I was an undergrad, and it's taking up far too much space. Some of it isn't terrible! If it were terrible, I could throw it out, but I can't, so it's just hanging around. And it dawned on me, maybe the internet would like to take it off my hands.
So, in the effort of cutting down on all the things in my life that are taking up space, I'm giving you a chance to win a charm! It's similar to the charms in this charm bracelet, except you can wear it however you like! Throw it on a chain, or incorporate it into your own design. It's enamel on copper- the image is painted on with china paint and then fired, and the whole thing is set into a sterling silver frame.
All you have to do to be in the running is follow the blog, comment on this post, or if you use Twitter, tweet a link to it! If you follow or tweet it, leave a separate comment mentioning it. You have until midnight on May 31st to enter, and I'll pick the winner on June 1st and announce it here! (Make sure you leave your email or another way for me to get in touch with you if you win!) Only open to people with addresses in the United States!
good for you, culling isn't something I do very well...
ReplyDeleteThat looks cute! I think if I won it, I would attach it to my zipper pull on my purse. I've never been good with things like that. But I think it is great that you are giving some of your art away as opposed to throwing it up!
ReplyDeleteYes, the Internet will rise up and find you someone to send it to! Maybe me?
