For week eight of the Thing a Week project, I completed a sample for some earrings I'm planning on making. I made the sample out of copper and purple polymer clay. The goal is to whip out three pairs this coming week, so I'll post them at some point as well! I'll be making the final pairs in silver. Any suggestions on what colors I should use for the polymer clay?
And, just to show you what I did (sort of) last week, I remade the hoop earrings. Except I gave this pair a good hammering. (You can also see my awesome garage sale anvil underneath- I haven't completely refinished the top yet, but at some point I will.)
And for an extra bit of excitement, I'm pleased to announce that several of my pieces will be traveling to Minneapolis, MN for a show called Our Earth at Flow Art Space!
