Week Forty

Week Forty included some material samples.  I was considering using some of these in yet another ring design, but decided that it was a little over ambitious with the time I had left before the show.  (This was, of course, just prior to my fantastic Halloween vacation, where I flew across the country and surprised my dad!)

This sample is static grass (used when creating fancy bases for miniatures, and liberated from my long suffering boyfriend) in resin.  I also did a sand sample, but that seems to have disappeared.
